Sydney Olympic Park Authority is responsible for the venue management of the Sports Halls.

Sports Halls is part of the Authority's Sports Venues division, and involves the successful daily management of facilities to meet the competition and training needs of athletes and the recreational and fitness needs of the community, thereby contributing to the advancement of a healthy, social and cultural lifestyle for the people of NSW.

Sydney Olympic Park Sports Halls were provided by the NSW Government as a legacy of the Sydney 2000 Olympic and Paralympic Games. They are the state training venue for Volleyball NSW, Badminton NSW, Handball NSW, Table Tennis NSW and Judo NSW. The multi-purpose halls are also suitable for indoor soccer, netball and various martial arts.

Sydney Olympic Park Sports Halls are one of the newest sporting facilities to be opened to the public at Sydney Olympic Park. Comprising two large halls of over 3000 square metres each and a smaller martial arts hall, they have been fitted out to accommodate a range of sporting activities.

The East Hall has a sprung timber floor and accommodates volleyball, handball, indoor soccer and netball. The smaller North Hall also known as the Martial Arts Hall has two judo mats on a raised podium suitable for judo and other martial arts. The West Hall has a synthetic Pulastic floor throughout and is suitable for badminton, table tennis and volleyball.
